Default English Autumn

Hi everyone, new to the forums so be kind
Very much an amateur here and only started to become addicted to photography about 8 months ago, most of my shots are aperture priority i also use Shutter Priority Modes to, still not confident enough to go full manual but will when experience/confidence grows.
Here is the link to my photo for assessment:

FINAL_ POND_NEW SKY

It’s a large photo!! Not got any photo accounts yet so sorry about size..
It has been tweaked a little in Photoshop and i added a new sky too.

Nikon D40X
Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED-IF AF-S VR DX Zoom
f/8
Exposure time: 1/125
ISO: 100
Exposure bias@ -0.3 step
Focal length 36mm

Not got a Tripod yet so the shot was hand held, must invest in one to be honest!
Would love to hear opinions, be honest i can take criticism if it’s the helping kind.
Many thanks and take care!!

Simon
