Yeah I know what you are saying. I tend to move in closer to the better subject matter if the larger scene is not doing it for me. On this one I was trying to limit the sky as much as possible because the direction I was shooting to get the filtered light threw the leaves also produces somewhat blown out sky, plus a lot of the surrounding trees were kind of bland as many were much further along on loosing there leaves. I do have some shots that capture slightly larger scenes from this fall I will see about posting one of those later for some review.
