It is not a bad lens f
or the price. Compared to other budget lenses at the $200 mark, it does a better job than most. You just can't compare it to an expensive lens. I bought this lens when I wanted to expand the things I was able to do without breaking my budget. I learned a lot from using it, got interested in macro, was excited when I got some telephoto shots. It helped me decide what types of lenses I wanted to spend my money on and gave me a chance to improve my skills.
