Most editing software don't keep the EXIF information. After all, what use is exposure information after you have brightened or darkened the photo?

Having said that, you could either just post the EXIF of the original photo, or copy the exif from the original to the edit. I use "exiftool" to do the latter, such that I can post a resized photo with a border on Flickr which still contains the EXIF of the original.
