What was the lighting? You've got colours that could be warm (red, yellow and white) but the light appears to be blue-tinted.

I think a greater depth of field would also help. Since there is no particular point of interest that benefits from the focus, it would be better to have a deeper DoF and make more of the texture of the petals.
