Some shots from this autumn that I particularly like. More on my flickr of course.
First, a my favourite this month. This squirrel (chipmunk?) and I became friends when I was taking pictures of the road. I laid down in the gravel, put the camera in front of me and took shots of him zoomed in to get some DOF effect.
The next is the shot at the place I made friend's with the afore-pictured rodent. The S-curve I was trying to get didn't work out that well, but the shot still makes me happy.
Taking pictures of our pumpkin carving tonight. These I used the IR mode on my camera, then played with contrast and exposure settings to get it the way I wanted it.
Our pumpkin carving group. Timer on 10 sec, then cropped and fiddled to make it a little better. I'm over on the far right. I did the geeky Autobot pumpkin.
