Titles are important for web use, but in general I usually find them more distracting than helpful. I'd rather not see a title on a photo than have one that confuses me, or leaves me thinking more about the artist's choice of title than the image itself.
As for the share your shots section, not only are there a lot of people posting in there, but a lot of us don't even bother commenting in that section because of the restrictions on feedback. It's rare that I even look there, and rarer still that I leave a comment.
