Default The Lagoon at Butchart Gardens

The Lagoon at Butchart Gardens

Butchart Gardens is a really cool place to visit. The gardens are absolutely spectacular and unlike any other botanic gardens you have ever visited. The gardens are located about 15mi north of downtown Victoria and If you come to the island without a car you have 2 choices on how to get to the gardens. The first is you can pile on to one of the tour buses that are consistently leaving from the downtown area or you can charter a float plane from the harbor and arrive at the park in true northwestern fashion. Should you decide to cough up the $150, this is where you will land… quite picturesque, eh? ;-) . From what I am to understand you also get a 30-45min tour of the area with your transport to the gardens so I am sure it is worth it if you have the money. We opted to drive our rental car up to the gardens as we paid to have it floated over from Port Angles.

Thanks for looking,
-Tom
