A teleconverter may help but if using so you especially want to make sure to use a tripod and minimize shake as much as possible because the focusing gets a bit off with the extenders and may have issues catching birds in flight but could be worth a shot. As always read reviews and test products if possible to get your own feel for them before purchase. Amazon didn't have many reviews for the teleconverter but none of the reviews showed any 'wow' aspect.
