My name is Daniel and I live in the Washington DC area. I just recently bought a Nikon D3000 18-55 VR Kit w/ also a 55-200 VR lens. I'm looking to make photography a hobby and hope to learn some good techniques on taking shots. I've purchased "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson and "The Digital Photography Book" volumes 1 and 2 by Scott Kelby. I hope to learn alot here at DPS.
