Question Night shooting Issues

Hey guys,
I have an Olympus E-520 with the 2 kit lenses (14-42 and 42-150) that it comes with, and when I try to do night photography, no matter what setting I seem to try it gives it a yellow/orange overall appearance...am I missing something?

I forgot to mention, its when I am shooting outdoors. The first time I noticed it is when I did a city scape at night (Cn tower across the lake) and last night when I went to a marina. My friend had a normal sony point and shoot and it made amazing night shots where mine looked aweful in comparison. I haven't mastered the white balance portion yet, but I have tried the presets there to see if there is any difference with no luck (sunny, cloudy, auto...etc.)
