have you charged the battery in the radio transmitter and receiver?
a few weeks back i had a similar incident where all my shots AT max sync had a slightly dark haze
on the bottom edge.. my presumption was that it was one of the shutter curtains in the way due to poor syncing.
i changed the bettery in the transmitter and its all fine now.
i'm willing to bet you need new batteries
