I'm looking to get that cold tone effect (forget the texture in the photo) and cannot find it anywhere. That person has a tutorial on there but its only with that set of actions.

I've tried to get this myself and it just turned out to be horrible

Hi there, I am Sergio the one on your second sample with the cold-blue effect. I originally made this effect using Adobe Lightroom, but it can be achieve using Photoshop too. Here it's a quick video tutorial of how to re-create this effect, just remember that it's a quick way and witj more time can be improve.
