Default buck the trend?

hey

was wondering if anyone else refuses to upgrade from an older model as they are happy with what they have?

I use the Canon D60, and initially got it because it was a good deal, is good dSLR (my first) and a semi-pro model (aka rugged). Bought it in 2007 and it is a 2002-new model. It is my primary camera, with two secondary film cameras for nostalgia and film-dabbling when i feel like it.

Loving the D60 now, and dont see any point to upgrade as 6.3MP can print at A3 (ok 'only at DPI180 ish) and basically i would only be paying for bigger filesize (more MP), better AF and better noise suppression - I solve noise by using (strobes) and I use manual focus more than AF anyway except for fast sport type action and 6.3MP is okayish as i said before.

Just keen to see if there is anyone else who accepts there are a few limits to their "older" camera, but doesnt really care?

So im saving the cash i would spend on a body 'upgrade' and getting some nice glass which, in my opinion, is the more important part.

Nathan
