Hehe. I hadn't even considered forgetting the digital "film", but I did do that once. Luckily, my camera strap has a holder for two spare cards which I always have filled. So, all I missed that time was my high speed card for uploading to my computer afterwards.

Several years ago one of my uncles was on leave and visiting his parents in Minnesota during a winter. He saw a big, bull moose in the yard, grabbed his camera and went out on the porch to take a picture. The moose got spooked by the sound of the door and ran in the nearby woods. My uncle then preceded to chase after it through the snowy Minnesota backwoods and fields for the next hour or two. When he got back to the house he noticed he didn't have any film in the camera. I think he caught a cold too because he forgot his jacket as well.
