Too me it's too dark, only because of the time of day taken. Making the contrast between the sky and the shadows to high. I would like to see this same shot sometime before sunrise or just after sunset and maybe up to a f/14 or f/16. I would like to see an angle without the sky in it...........just forest and stream. But that might be difficult to achieve. Maybe a bracketed shot to help the sky on one hand and the forest/stream on the other hand.

It's a good start though.
