Someone mentioned using a lower percentage alcohol mixture for the flame. Basically anything over 50% alcohol will burn well enough for this to work. In most places it is hard to get anything higher than 70-75% alcohol unless you know someone with a really good still. Unless you can buy everclear where you live. The lower the percentage of alcohol in the mixture, the more orange you will get in the flame at the top of the bottle and the more light you will get from the flame.
