review of the Leica M9 introduced me to a pretty new concept - rangefinder cameras.
What is a rangefinder camera, what makes it different to a regular point 'n' shoot or SLR? What does the term 'rangefinder' actually mean?
Given the $7000 pricetag on the Leica (and that I'm still only getting going with my Nikon D60), I'm unlikely to be buying one or anything, but I'm still curious.
