I am very much and introvert, which for those that know me well, are surprised that I can go out into the streets or events and fire away. In reality it does not make sense to me either. It was very difficult for me at first because I was shy. (still am) Yet some how photography draws me out of my shell.
What I have found with most Bikers is this. They are stereotyped as being these mean, beat you down if you look at me wrong kind of guys. I admit I was one of those that had them lumped together in that group. The reality is, that I have found the opposite to be true. They are some of the nicest, most pleasant folks to be around. Sure you do have your mean, nasty, ugly ones, but that is true of most any group of people. Bikers in General, are honored to have their pics made with their beloved bikes. With them, I simply ask them. At first they will pose for you, but soon enough they let their guard down and use that time to take the candids. Offer to email them the images as well. I carry a pen and paper now or add it to my phone book.
