Same problem here
Hey, I am having the exact same problem with my Nikon D5000. The colours look very dull or flat. They are not at all vivid. It is especially noticable where I have been taking photos with a blue sky background.
I am a novice when it comes to digital SLRs so I use the automatic settings and I am not sure what the problem is.
I have attached a photo as a sample. The settings were: 1/320, F9, ISO 200 (automatically chosen), sRGB, white balance - auto.
Any suggestions?
