Yeah, but you can't use the pre-AI lenses on a D90, so you can really only use the ones from 1977 or later unless you convert them.
You can use pre-AI lenses with no problems on a Canon EOS dSLR with an adapter ring. AND they still meter correctly, even on the lowly XS.
