This is perfect! I'm starting a portraiture class (taking it) at our local art museum this Saturday. I should have lots of material available.

Anyway, to get started, here is a rather unusual one. This shot was taken with a Nikon N60 35mm camera. The "lens" was a Celestron C90 Schmidt-Cassegrain 1000mm telescope. I was on our deck, and my wife was working in the yard. She had no idea I took this. It's in landscape, rather than portrait mode because of the tripod requirements. I still like the way it came out.

The image was scanned, then had one of the overlay filters from one of the previous lessons applied in Photoshop CS2.
