OK, let me give you my take on this conundrum... BigCrustyApe, Susan & Her 5D and I regularly head out into the wild blue.... London of an evening for a shoot... we decide on a tube station and whatever happens happens!... it could end up with us shooting blossoms in a pretty street, it could see us in a grimy underground garage shooting well.. grime... or, people sipping lattes on the upside of town... it's what you make it really. I love shoting and unless my mood says no, i'll always find something that clicks my shutter button. If indeed it is a band you'd like to shoot, find a local pub / bar and get friendly with the owner... (i'm about to ask my local pubs owner...) or, out door venues can usually see you close to the action. or, even buskers - they emit emotion if they're good musicians and I find emotion makes for good photos... (James Morrison started as a busker in Truro and look at him now! - british act) ....just get out there and snap away, you'll find what "takes your fancy" soon enough... Good Luck! [you won't need it..] Sime
