It depends what kind of things you want to take pictures of. For example, I love using my camera to take pictures of plants. I frequently tour my back garden, which is not massive but has provided plenty of "willing models"; I also belong to the Royal Horticultural Society and visit their gardens several times a year with taking photos as my main purpose.
