Nice shot. I'm sure this one will grace your mantle for months to come and find its way into your daughter's photo albums! Since you have the shot and software, I'm wondering how this would look in a landscape mode. Crop out the bottom half leaving only the top half cutting daughter off just below the left hand. Maybe leaving just the top bar of the yellow handle. That would make a lovely head and shoulders shot, eliminate the flash glare, and draw even more attention to that wonderful, fanciful, childish expression.

Yes! Holding a paper against the monitor at that spot to simulate a crop does make an interesting shot. I would also crop out the sliver of rope that "graces" the left side ... but don't crop too close to the hand.

Hope this helps. I would do this for you, but I think you would be prouder if you do it yourself.
