Last time I checked I'm not infallible Really... If I am, that's news to me

My train of thought was as follows:
...it's not like lenses are water / airproof in the way that a sealed jar would be since air and other stuff can work it's way in via the zoom I would think. I just figure it would be my luck that I would have moisture on either the front or rear element, I would put it into a container with the silica, dust would come out of the little silica bags and firmly attach itself to the element while I left it to dry, leaving me to have to clean it all over again, and with my further luck, get moisture back into the lens. That's all, that's my interesting version of logic at least lol

See, not infallible, just very unlucky most of the time, so the logic follows a lot of worst case scenarios.
