After looking at these photos I'm in a tight competition which is good news. It takes all the pressure off.
This is my first attempt at a submission. Naturally I have issues with the photograph but if I wait for one that I approve of it will probably never happen. sigh If only I could learn to hold the camera straight.

This photo was taken this morning.
It is of a gas burner. The reflection in the background must be from the flash, and if you look closely in the reflection, I think you will see my camera. Does that mean the blur around that reflection is my face in the flames?
To me the reflection looks oddly like empty church pews. Maybe I need medication.
