The colour one is a little more natural and inviting. On the other hand, the cropped B&W version is almost menacing looking. My vote is for the B&W. I think it'd be even more dramatic though if you could get the detail back in the sky/clouds.
added: looking at the B&W again it reminds of a Hitchcock movie or the original Night of the Living Dead.
