I think the sepia definitely contributes to the "penny candy store" feel. So that was a very good call.

I agree that the glare is distracting, but the gum also does seem "super colorful." To the point of oddness. I feel like the bright neon colors don't go with the sepia. If there was some way to desaturate the gum colors alone, I guess I would try that.

But all in all it's a great shot!
