Boy, did I have fun!
What did I do? I selected the bird and pasted it onto a new background (one of my own images) and using the sky color gave the bird a halo of fringe lighting (made a layer underneath and painted around the edges of the bird). Merged down to unite these two layers then duplicated several times and resized, twisted and turned the birds to make them look different from each other. Painted the grasses back over a couple of the birds (reduce opacity to see what is under, then bring it back to 100% when finished. Gave it a title. Took 30 minutes.
