Default Long Exposure while Driving

DPS Assignment: "B&W Portraits"

I have had several people inquire about how I did this so I thought it would be a great opportunity to add to this forum....

The shot was taken with a D90 mounted on a clamp Bogen/Manfrotto 243 Car Window Pod / Clamp from Eagle Optics [www_eagleoptics_com] (compliments of another photographer Flickr: CTNelson (Tustin)'s Photostream) while driving about 30 mph. The camera was set at 2 second exposure and f/13.0. I used an IR remote to fire the camera so you couldn't see my hand movements in the rear view mirror. Post processing included minor adjustments to exposure, shadows and conversion to B&W. ENJOY
