hi, i really enjoy the tone of both these shots, good contrast, good brightness and deep shadows where i expect them to be.
in addition, i really like the composition of the first shot, subject is clear and unambiguous, background does not detract but is a pleasant accompaniment. the second has fluid movement, but the balance is just a bit off for me.
