Default Canada Day Fireworks in the Maritimes

After seeing the post on the front page of DPS with suggestions on how to shoot fireworks I was anxious to give it a try. Yay for Canada Day.

This shoot was a lot of firsts for me. First time ...
  1. shooting at night
  2. shooting with a tripod
  3. shooting long exposures
Here are some of my favorites. It was a great learning experience me. EXIF the same for all shots. Only post production was cropping and resizing.

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi
Exposure: 6
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 25 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Lots more photos in the set if you want to see more. Happy Canada Day everyone. (And happy 4th of July soon US friends.)
