Sorry for the delay in a reply to your thread - it seems to happen now and then.

One change that might help your lighting is to shoot earlier or later in the day - noonish is going to give a flatter light. But you can tilt a subject away from direct Sun, if the bee doesn't mind! Otherwise, this is a decent bee shot.
