Hi all! Im Arnah.
I'm here because I need to learn more about photographic techniques and PP. Im going to the US for a month in November and want to be able to take beautiful photos of our trip. At the moment, im only happy with about 40% of how my photos turn out - that needs to change!
Myself and the husband, my sister, and sisters boyfriend went interstate on a whim / road trip a few weeks ago, arrived around 2pm, and left for the drive home around midday the next day. So uh, not even there 24 hours and I took 632 photos. I edited 134 of them and pretty much scrapped the rest. That kind of reinforced what Id suspected, that I was taking far too many uneducated 'hope-this-works' photos with a really limited knowledge outside point and shoot!
I have a canon 400D (Rebel in the US) with the double lens kit. I have a lensbaby composer (which is what has forced me beyond point and shoot!) and Im looking into buying a wide angle lens. I use LR2, and want to get/build my knowledge with Photoshop.
So here I am! Ive spent the last few days reading everything I can, and look forward to learning much more here!
