Well said, Lucyhelen. Additionally, many cameras whose sales pitches emphasize the point-and-shoot ease of use actually have capabilities beyond that. Owners should check their manuals or otherwise study up (via internet, maybe) on what their cameras can do. If the camera has options other than just "AUTO," perhaps the equivalent of f/16 can be reached. Experiment and check what the EXIF data shows.
