The only bee I've ever gotten a good shot of was one that was for whatever reason sluggy and had half-passed out on the steps ( was by a pot of blooming flowers, maybe ate too much nectar? haha ). Even then it took quite a few shots to get something worth showing anyone.
Despite the difficulty in getting bee shots I think you did well here. The lighting makes me think of a warm, summer evening and I like how one wing is highlighted vs the other being in the shadow.
I guess all you can do is keep trying!
