My name is Victoria Klein - just until last month, it was Victoria Everman (I got married on May 12th). I'm a full-time
freelance writer & eco-consultant, but I'm also adding photographer onto my list. I've been taking pictures off an on since my first Polaroid camera when I was a kid. Just yesterday (my 25th birthday), I got a new digital SLR camera (Canon Digital Rebel XTi) and am ready to take my photography to the next level. I'm also studying photography as part of my Liberal Arts degree at a local (Connecticut, USA) community college starting this Fall 2009.
I also have
an Etsy shop that sells prints of my photographic images, but I hope to progress to working with magazines in the future. All of the images in my shop are from the last digital SLR I owned almost 5 years ago (a Fuji Finepix) & a Nikon Coolpix point-and-shoot that I had up until about 6 months ago.
I plan to use these forums to learn more about the technicalities of digital photography & getting critiques on images I take (to help me decide which ones to sell as prints ... etc.). As a contributor, I'm happy to share my honest opinion on the images of others and share what do knowledge I have.
