Here is a great example on how light blue eyes reflect what is in the photo (this is NOT a great photography shot .. just one of those family fun snapshots!) it just so happens is a GREAT example on light blue eyes..
She is reflecting the green from the chair next to her so her eyes look GREEN in this photo. In the photo above where she is reflecting the purple flowers her eyes look dark blue.
