Wow -- intense colors. And what a crazy set of roots that is! I really like it. I'm not sure about cropping -- I kind of like the space on the right, although it is mostly empty. Perhaps composing to leave space on the left (towards the water) might work better -- as if the roots were looking out to sea. That's just a random idea though.

As far as the colors -- I think the whole image has a bit of a warm tone, and the saturation is very high. However, I'm willing to say that that's an artistic choice for you -- I kind of like the colors where they are. I'm sure that others will say that the image is too warm and should be toned down. You should give that a try, but you may ultimately decide that this version is better.
