. Could it be the eyepiece cover that you are thinking is a lens cap clip? I'm not aware of a lens cap clip coming with the camera. The eyepiece cover explanation is on page 27 of my a200 manual. It shows the eyepiece cover, how to properly remove/attach the rubber eyecup, (which must be removed to use the eyepiece cover.)
