I suppose I will introduce myself as well. I've been lurking for some time now and recently decided to sign up. My name is Alan and I live in Cincinnati, OH. I pay the bills working as a network admin in addition to going to school at the University of Cincinnati to polish off my IT degree. I'm a newb to photography and DSLRs. I currently have a Nikon D40x w/ an 18 - 105 f/3.5-5.6 VR lens. It's not much but it's a start and it's been a lot of fun to learn on. I'm too new to know what photography I enjoy the most so my shots vary quite a bit. You're more than welcome to browse my flickr page which I have linked in my sig.
