I would suggest not quite. You have got the spot between the eyes of the dog about 1/3 of the way in from the right but I think it would be better to also have the same spot about 1/3 of the way down from the top (it only looks about 1/4 down to me).

The first thing I'd work on with this picture though is not thinking about thirds but a spot of rotation to let the dog stand up straight. Then, since there is really nothing of interest on the left hand side of the image (even the dog's body doesn't extend over there), I would probably try cropping to a portrait format. That is the point at which I would begin thinking about thirds as a possible guideline.
