Selective Sharpening
A great way to selectively sharpen your images is achieved by doing the following.
1. Duplicate layer
2. Apply sharpen through filter (preferably smart sharpen)
3. Alt + Masking button (usually beneath the layers palette)
4. Select a soft brush and paint with white over the masked layer, areas that you would like to sharpen.
