Well this is my attempt. He look like he is just about to jump out of a plane and that is exactly how I would look so I related!!
What I did was:
- cropped the photo
- duplicate the photo and apply a multiply layer blend to reduce the overexposure
- I thought that since it was blown out anyway, going with a cross processed look might work, so I followed
this tutorial to get that effect. I use Photoshop Elements 4 which doesn't have a curves option, so I used the
Easy Filter Curves plugin on a duplicate layer and used a Color layer blend
- I did a highpass sharpen
