Did not think of that because I have not ran into that situation yet. You do have a point though. Now I have to think about it more.
I was hopping to get by with the 580 and one 430 and use the the v4 to remote fire them but the 430's and the 580 work so well together, I just broke down and got another 430.
The truth is... I'm a newbe and have not learned to manually set the flashes yet so the ettl is helping me out and I hate to loose that feature.
