That I am loved for who I am!

This reminds me so much of the story of the widow and the little boy. The recently widowed lady sits all day long sobbing uncontrolably at the loss of her dearly loved husband. Friends, family and even strangers try cheering her up any way they can, telling her that fond memories will soon turn her sorrow to joy, what a great man her husband was, that it will be okay etc. etc. all to no avail. Eventually this little boy walks up to the widow, puts his arm across her shoulders, sits down next to her without a word and begins to sob uncontrolably alongside her. The two sit like that for a while until eventually the sobs turn to intermittent sniffles. The lady smiles, enfolds the little boy in a warm embrace, stands up, takes his hand and leads him off to buy an ice-cream. Tears, sorrow, sobbing all now a thing of the past. Later, someone asks the little boy why he did that. His reply was simply, "all she needed was someone to cry with."

A short tale that goes hand in hand with what you have stated above... We ALL need to be understood.

Thank you for reminding us of that.
