I think for this one I will go with the minority of the votes.
I really enjoy taking the time to set up pictures. I think this is why I get photographers block sometimes because there's something really satisfying about seeing your vision come out just as you hoped. I think that it's just as valid as taking pictures because I'm not much for photojournalism type pictures. So I'm not actually aiming to create a truthful representation of the way that things actually are. I'm aiming for some sort of creative representation of what I want to see.
Of course, I do often go out and just take pictures because otherwise I'd rarely pick up the camera, but if I had to pick one, I think I'd go for making pictures just because I like that element of control and creation.
