Sorry to say but I think both images have missed. The first one has daisies that have been chosen as a focal point, which could be ok except they are wilted and are overpowered by the roses in the background.
The second is just too busy and has some wire and a stick that are very distracting.
The good news is your dof is right on and the colors are grand!
