Thanks for writing that up; it is helpful and informative, and the pictures are terrific. One quick thought for you -- can I suggest that you head over to the
Strobist blog, and spend some time wandering around?
The blog deals with lighting on a budget (speedlights) and tackles a lot of things that came up on your shoot (like balancing flash and sun). I think it would help you become an even better photographer.
